FOCUS 2021 Jubilee Leaders Event

Postponed

Jubilee Observatory

ABOUT

Focus is our key leadership gathering at the start of year and the Elders and Wives of Jubilee would love it if you and your spouse could join us for this important leadership gathering. It is a context where we get to prepare and refocus ourselves as leaders for the year ahead, realign our vision, pray and plan together, build friendships and seek God for the things that He has for us as a local church family.

It’s our prayer that Focus 2021 will be a time when all of us will be refuelled, refreshed and envisioned for all that awaits us in 2021. Jesus has got great things in store for us in 2021 and we want to be those who are ready and prepared. Focus 2021 will help us in that endeavour.

The programme will run for one day only, Saturday 30 January 2021 at Jubilee Centre (21 Nelson Road, Observatory). We'll gather outside at 9.30am with welcome pastries and tea and coffee. The meeting will kick off at 10am with an outdoor lunch served at 12.30pm and will conclude by 3pm.

Once you have registered here via Quicket you will receive a follow up email and an SMS with a link to the symptom screening form will be sent to you on the morning of the 30th of January. Every person attending is required to fill out this form. Registrations will close on Monday 25 January for catering purposes.

*Please take note there is no child-care available

We are looking forward to seeing you there!

Attendance is limited to 250 people in the main service and people over the age of 60 and those with co-morbidities are encouraged to remain at home as per government regulations.

All people attending are asked to keep to a strict social distance of at least 1.5m from each other. Masks are required at all times.

A mask is preferable however a buff will be accepted.

Anyone who is sick or showing COVID-19 symptoms, has had contact with a COVID-19 positive person or has tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 10 days is asked to remain at home. Any person who has tested positive for COVID -19 must immediately inform Jubilee of any gathering in which they previously participated in the past 10 days, and he or she may not attend any gathering within 10 days from the date of receiving the positive test.

Our country remains in a critical season, where the risk of COVID-19 infection remains a real threat. As you're no doubt aware, this virus is especially dangerous to those over 60 years of age and those with co-morbidities. While we are all no doubt eager for a return to community, we do ask that you would prioritise the wellbeing of others when evaluating your fitness to return to meetings. If you are showing any signs of ill health we ask that you remain at home.
