Safety glass for each TLC class

Window glass is all we ask, help us do this for each class!

We are required to replace all glass windows with 6.38mm laminated glass for the safety of the children and in order to be compliant. 

TLC will need to undertake the massive project of replacing all non-compliant windows throughout the school. This is necessary for the safety of the children and in order to be fully compliant.

TLC is a school that supports children with learning difficulties and barriers to learning. The safety of the children is of utmost importance to us, and while we had laminated all the windows before moving into the new premises in 2016, we have been informed that all windows need to be replaced with 6.38mm laminated glass.

The replacing will need to be done with immediate effect, and with the financial strains that came with Covid-19, the school does not have the funds to make it happen. It is for this reason that we would like to ask the community for help. We would be hugely grateful for any contribution that you feel you are able to make towards this cause.

Breytenbach Glass has generously offered to remove all existing non-compliant glass panes, with no labour cost, as a gift to the community. The funds that we are hoping to raise are required to cover the cost of the new glass and installation.
