After the roaring success of their String Serenade concert, the Eastern Cape Philharmonic Orchestra is excited to present another musical event not to be missed. This time, winds, brass and percussion will join forces with the strings in a programme that celebrates the optimism and joy of life.
Two Symphonies and a Tango pairs Mozart’s magnificent Jupiter Symphony with Schubert’s exciting Fifth Symphony. The programme concludes with a delectable tango by the king of this dance form, Astor Piazzolla (which will send you home with a tune in your head and ready for the festive season!)
Covid protocols will be in place so please arrive before 14:45 to avoid queues.
Please note that we will require proof of vaccination for entry to the Tramways Building. This is for the safety of all our patrons and musicians. This will be checked on arrival when temperatures are taken.
NB!! If you are booking tickets for a group of people, please make sure that everyone is advised of this requirement, to avoid problems at the venue on arrival.
