Session 1 (15h00-16h30)

· Time management during the exam—how much time to spend on each question

· What should be on my rough work (my safety net), what is essential to know off by heart

· What to listen out for in the audio tracks—accurately identifying what is asked and using the correct terminology in the answers

· UNDERSTANDING THE QUESTION! How to actually answer the question and understanding the level of depth and detail needed in a question

· Identifying STYLE, GENRE and FORM—step by step approach to get this right

· Essay question—how to write a good comparative essay

· Pitfalls and silly mistakes that cost unnecessary marks

Session 2 (17h00-18h30)

· Paper I—exemplar practice and application of skills learned in session 1 (1 hour)

· Paper II—exemplar practice and application of skills learned in session 1 (1/2 hour)
