Funguy fundraiser
About
The main aim of this campaign is to raise funds for a developing mushroom farm in Loskop dam area, Mpumalanga, South Africa.
During covid the company experienced heavy financial losses and had to readjust to the financial circumstances in South Africa afterwards. Currently it is still in operation and slowly recovering, but it requires help. The company employed 13 permanent workers and 4 seasonal workers during the 2021 season. As of now (July 2022) it is only left with 5 permanent workers.
The farm requires additional equipment, structural material, manual labour and growth mediums in order to re-establish itself. The farm is a crucial part of the remaining workers' livelihood and without it some of them will struggle to survive.
As the owner of this company I humbly ask for any donation to Funguy farm. Firstly to get the necessary funds in order to pay full salaries for the upcoming months and secondly for the company to be fully operational again.
