The POPI Act came into full effect on the 1st of July 2020 after which organisations and practitioners were given 12 months to work towards POPIA compliancy.
This webinar will assist all practitioners to refresh their current POPIA compliancy protocols and / or assist new practitioners to become compliant.
This workshop will provide you with the knowledge, skills and practical tips to ensure your POPIA Compliancy.
This workshop is hosted by Ethics Simplified, and presented by Anita Kleinsmidt. Anita is an radiographer who studied towards an LLM and a Post Gradute Diploma in Applied Ethics. She moved into medical law and ethics after practising at law firms in Johannesburg and at the AIDS Law Project (renamed as Section 27). She lectured medical ethics and law at Wits Medical School and most recently at Stellenbosch University. Anita is currently persuing her PhD and is assisting SMEs in becoming POPIA Compliant.
