AISCT High School Festive Music Soiree

Fri Dec 2, 18:30 - Fri Dec 2, 20:30

AISCT Parthenon

ABOUT

AISCT High School's Festive Music Soiree - Join us for a fantastic festive evening of High School class and solo music performances on Friday 2 December 2022, at 6.30pm in the AISCT Parthenon.

Our two large high school marimba bands, our high school band as well as 'The Feds' will perform showstopping songs as part of their final semester assessment in front of a live audience.

In addition there will be various high school solo performers as well as the fabulous PATA choir who are set to get us in the much needed end-of-term holiday mood.

The High School Prom crew will be selling sodas and festive cookies as part of their fundraising initiative so bring some cash along for a few snacks beforehand.

Entrance will be any kind of donation (per person attending) for the sheltered dogs and cats at PlumPets Animal Shelter in Plumstead, CT.

To help outline which items would be meaningful as donations we are including a list of particular goodies that PlumPets Animal Shelter would be grateful to receive for their canine and feline fur babies.

Only one small item per person would be appreciated, yet if you feel the urge to splurge on bigger items (doggie beds, etc) that would be lovely of course - but not expected at all. Donations can be left on the evening of the soiree at two marked tables as you enter the Parthenon so no need to bring these through earlier.

PLUMPETS FESTIVE WISHLIST:

DOGS

1.   WOOD CHIPS - Our doggies have wood chips laid down in the garden, this is much easier to maintain than a lawn as the urine kills the grass.

2.   DRY BEDS and/ or BLANKETS - These are special beds that keep nice and dry on top if a stray happens to have an accident in their cage.

3.   TREATS - Besides the hooves in their cages, we also give our stray doggies something delicious to chew at night. Any sort of OSTRICH-BASED treat is preferred as it has low chance of causing tummy upsets (e.g. ostrich necks, sinew trimmings or ostrich flat sinews). We also have BIG chewers so we give them longer-lasting treats (e.g. Raw Marrow Bones, Pizzle sticks and achilles).

4.   HOOVES - Each of our doggies has a hoof in their cage to chew. They especially enjoy the smoked hooves. Occasionally we stuff the hooves with tasty wet food, put them in the freezer and then it’s an amazing longer-lasting, tastier hooves.

5.WET FOOD for dogs (cans) - Woolies or Petleys (Checkers/Pick n Pay)

CATS

1.   CAT LITTER - WOOD LITTER for the inside cats. We go through 2 -3 bags (14kg bags) of wood litter per day. We also need SAND LITTER for the Catio.

2.   CATNIP PLANTS and Cat grass - Fun way to keep our cats entertained.

3.   PURPLE BLANKETS - We use PURPLE Blankets for the cats so we make sure the blanket doesn’t smell like a dog, especially when we have a timid kitty.

4.   WET FOOD – Petleys or Pampers Tins

5.   CAT TOYS

We are looking forward to our festive music event together with you in celebrating our students' amazing talent, resilience and musical prowess.
