ABOUT
Expressive Movement Cape Town and The Beach Co-op invite you to a special year-end dance in celebration of all of life.
We will gather together to honour this land, sea and the people of this place. We will dance in gratitude for these waters that sustain us, these mountains that hold us and the winds that offer us endless cleansing. We will also dance with all that has come to pass in this last year for ourselves and our communities, celebrating all there is to celebrate, together.
Please join us for this special dance. We are so looking forward to seeing you there!
We don’t want to disturb the penguins or any other marine life, so we will be dancing with headsets, silent disco style.
Date: Saturday December 3rd
Time: 18:00 – 20:00 pm
Feel free to come through earlier for a beach picnic or a swim. We will begin at 18:00 with a warm up dance followed by some story-sharing before we begin the main dance at 19:00. Sunset is at 19:45.
Cost: Adults: R180 | Children: R60 (if they want their own headset) or they are welcome to join for free if they don't need a headset.
Bookings to be made in advance, so that we can make sure we have a headset for you :)
50% of proceeds will go towards supporting the incredible work that The Beach Co-op does in collaboratively and creatively working to urgently protect, restore and regenerate the integrity of ocean ecosystems.
