Help Madelyn Go for Gold!

About

Madelyn has been chosen to participate in the 20th KSI Karate World Championships from 10-15 July 2023. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Madelyn to showcase her skills on an international stage. She secured a bronze medal in kumite at the EU KSI Open Championships in July last year, and has been selected to once again represent South Africa.

However, to make the most of this incredible opportunity, we need your help to cover Madelyn's entry fees, accommodation expenses, and essential kit. Any contribution towards Madelyn's journey would be greatly appreciated and will make a significant impact on her success at the world championships.

Madelyn has dedicated years of hard work and commitment to her training, learning valuable life lessons and gaining discipline, strength, and confidence through karate. She owes a great deal of her success to Sensei John Shaw, who has been an outstanding instructor, and has helped Madelyn overcome her fears and build her confidence to compete at the highest level.

"I am deeply motivated by the fact that every time I enter the dojo, I have the chance to learn something new," says Madelyn. "Karate has given me so much, and I am forever grateful for the gifts of discipline, strength, and confidence. This is a life-changing opportunity, and I intend to give it my all. I will practice with determination and put my heart and soul into representing South Africa with pride, despite any nerves or fears I may have."

Please join us in supporting Madelyn's journey to the Karate World Championships. Together, we can help her achieve her dreams and make South Africa proud.
