ABOUT
The Dargle valley stretches out beneath Inhlosane, an iconic hill visible from just about anywhere in the Midlands. At 1976 metres above sea level, it is one of the highest peaks before the Drakensberg – which can be clearly seen from the top.
Now its your chance to conquer this iconic mountain!
We will be meeting at Piggly Wiggly at 7.30am and drive in a convoy to our starting point.
Hike distance is appr. 8km and will take us 3-4 hours to complete (incl. breaks/stops)
This is a grade 3 hike and a fair level of fitness is requered to complete it. Elevation: 455m
Cost: R190pp which includes your entry fee to the venue.
Bring your own drinks and snacks if you would like to stay for a picnic after the hike.
They also have a fully licensed restaurant on site and they serve lovely meals and coffee too!
What to bring: Shoes with good grips (hiking boots, takkies with good grip) NO FLAT SHOES ALLOWED!
snacks, water or cold drinks, a cap, plus a backpack to carry all that. hiking stick is highly recommended!
If event is cancelled due to bad weather, it will be re-scheduled and new date will be given.
Please also note that we need min 20 confirmed bookings to go ahead with this event.. If quota is not met, event will be cancelled and refund will be processed.
