Mitchell Park Zoo Revamp

We are a team of young and old Durban based community enthusiasts , here today to ask for your help.

As many of you know what was once our pride and joy , Mitchell Park , has now become an eyesore and borderline burden to the community. We are here today to ask for donations for the facelift of this monumental place.

Not only has it become dilapidated but it has also become a hazard to the native and indigenous animals that reside there. From malnutrition to living in filth , it is heartbreaking to see and to hear about. We tried to get in touch with the municipality but to no avail , I’m sure all of us know how that goes in todays day and age.

The donations will go towards cleanliness of the zoo and its surroundings , the correct nutrition for the specific animals and hopefully the removal of any animals are not supposed to even be in such small enclosures. As a community , we are all in need of help , but we can help ourselves , the animals can’t.
