Die dekade van die 1980’s is gekenmerk deur die musiek van ‘n nuwe geslag rockers. Mense soos Madonna en Michael Jackson het die vermaaklikheidsbladsye in koerante en tydskrifte wêreldwyd gevul. Op die strand het die dames gespog met drag in vrolike en helder kleure en daardie bekende “V-hips”-snit.
Die mans het met hul eina-speedo’s, gemaak uit nylon, rondgeloop.
Verplaas jou dan terug in tyd en herleef hierdie vergete era van vier dekades gelede. Daar is immers niks beters as om dit “old school” te doen nie – al is dit ook net vir een aand!
Leef jouself uit as iemand anders. Hetsy in die vurige kostuum van ‘n rocker, of dalk in die smeulende stranddrag van ‘n vry gees . . .
