ABOUT

The mighty queen is dead. The Kingdom of Artemisia is cursed. And the only way to lift the curse is to slay the witch. When the beautiful King Eldegaarde, offers his daughter's hand in marriage to the knight who can slay the wicked bog witch and lift the curse, there’s only one thing for the tenacious teenage Princess Alessandra to do: Sneak out of the castle and dispose of the witch herself to avoid marriage. But she’s no fool and she’s not going alone. With the help of her BFF (and maid-in-waiting), Gabriella, she’s first assembling a crack crew of the deadliest monsters in myth and legend to help (be on the lookout for characters inspired by literary icons such as Beowulf, Grendel's Mother, Medusa, Baba Yaga and The Jabberwock). However, she soon discovers the monsters aren’t what they seem, and neither is the witch, or the curse, or the kingdom... Get ready for a rollicking and wild quest of magic, adventure and courage that will also have you laughing at the quirky characters and gasping at the twist and turns!

DOES THE SHOW USE ANY SPECIAL EFFECTS?

Yes. Kindly note that there are flashing lights and loud sound effects used during the performance.

IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT / RECOMMENDATION?

This is a family-friendly production with fantastical elements, and we suggest age 10+, but younger guests are welcome. Parental guidance is advised for younger guests as there are scenes with action sequences / stage combat and the production also contains references to violence much like in animated films such as Shrek and Brave. The show is approximately 110 minutes long (including the interval), quite loud at times and can be a bit scary in parts.
