MANA is a South African-Peruvian multidisciplinary artist, vocalist and composer with a background in theater. Her performances are known to be mesmerizing and vulnerable, soft centered with influences of jazz, samba and bossa nova. With a strong belief in the arts as a force of change, she embodies her love for multiculturalism through collaborating across many languages, projects and disciplines. Magical realism lying at the core of her ethos, mythic storytelling, sonic healing and raw emotive voice accompany her virtuosic and highly technical partnerships in song.
PAULO is a Brazilian multi-instrumentalist musician, singer, and composer. He has collaborated with esteemed artists and stages globally, contributing to a dialogue in both music and storytelling. His latest project Oceanico, actively celebrates cultural diversity initially uniting 14 musicians from Brazil & South Africa for its debut album and finally culminating into a 9-piece band which has enchanted audiences performing original compositions and soulful interpretations of Brazilian music.
They come together for their second tour through the beautiful Garden Route of South Africa, presenting a show with original compositions and interpretations of Brazilian songs, performed by their voice, guitar, clarinet, percussions & deep passionate talent.
