ABOUT
We’re going climbing outdoors again in our favourite local boulder garden!
Our third Outdoor Bouldering Day will be at Echo Valley, just above Kalk Bay, with unparalleled views of False Bay.
This hidden gem has some of the best boulders on the Southern Peninsula, in all grade ranges.
Meet us at the Kalk Bay Park (opposite Bob’s Bagels) at 9h00
We’ll provide you with:
- Two qualified mountain guides for the day, each with First Aid Level 3 training
- A guided warm-up routine to get you ready to climb
- Crash pads (at least one per climber)
- A packed lunch!
Hydration is NB! Please bring at least a litre of water with you, in addition to:
- Your climbing shoes (let us know if you need to rent a pair for the day)
- A warm, wind protecting jacket
- Energy and psych to climb some real rock!
- Any medication you might need
We’ll get you on boulders just right for your level of experience, chat with us to let us know if it’s your first time or if you are well experienced and psyched to get up there with a crew :)
We’ll get back to the cars around 17h00.?
This is an opportunity to learn the ins and outs of Cape Town bouldering with trained guides, giving you the confidence to try hard and completely immerse yourself in the magic of Echo Valley.
