ABOUT

Umqhumo translated means ‘explosion’, or more specifically, “the violent blowing apart of something, as caused by a bomb”.

The new event series represents the energy of Durban’s local community events, often hosted in minibus taxis.

Join us for the debut of Umqhumo, a new series that serve as a platform to experiment and expose all that nightlife and culture has to offer with the people that make it happen taking inspiration from Omagoqa’s lived experiences.
