ABOUT
Sport Leaders Institute of Zambia (SLIZA) in collaboration the International School of Lusaka (ISL) and other stakeholders will host the 2024 MaraKids Fun Run on Saturday 13 July 2024 in commemoration of the Day of the African Child. The Fun Run involves young people including children with disabilities from 5 to 14 years old to participate in a 2.5k fun run and other activities with the objective of promoting a healthy lifestyle. The main venue of the event will be ISL and the Zambia Athletics will assist with the technical aspects including rules and regulations for the event.
In this regard, we would like to invite you to come on board as a headline partner for us to collectively meet the objectives of the event. The run will involve 1000 kids from different schools accompanied by their families. Other activities planned include fun and movement games for children and adults, kids’ athletics conducted by athletics coaches, health education and tests, exhibitions and stalls showcasing various child friendly goods and services. We further wish to indicate officials from the Ministry of Youth, Sport and Art, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Health will grace the occasion.
