Chadleigh Gowar

ABOUT

"Award winning, South African bassist Chadleigh Gowar was eleven years old when he picked up a guitar for the first time. He credits learning to play guitar and bass play by ear, in church, for honing his instinct to improvise and harmonise. Those skills have made him adept at playing both jazz and gospel, the genres he has been playing the most during his decade-long career." 

Bands: 

Chadleigh is a founding member and band leader of “The Comrades”, a band with a unique and fresh sound with the goal to inspire and motivate other young musicians. 

He played bass for Kevin Booysen’s “Dumisani”, a prominent Gospel Band which toured South Africa and Namibia.
