Kaya Awakening is more than just a party—it’s a sonic ritual, blending tribal and futuristic sounds, ancient beats, and cutting-edge electronic frequencies. It’s music for the indigenous person within all of us, a call to reconnect, move, and elevate.

We open with a powerful Mijikenda Opening Ceremony, flowing into a communal sound experience through an interactive Kalimba Circle that brings everyone into rhythm and presence.

Then, prepare to be guided by some of Kenya’s finest psychedelic DJs on an ancient-future journey through sound:

We’re creating a "Oasis" where you can ground yourself with breathwork, kalimba vibes, or get creative with colors and crafts. This will be a space to slow down, recharge, or ask for support when needed.

Let your body become part of the art. Our amazing body painter Flora will be there to adorn you with glowing patterns, tribal symbols, and vibrant energy.

The Venue

Tucked away in one of Kilifi’s most breathtaking locations, this venue is a true hidden gem. With a stunning sunset view over the creek, it offers the perfect backdrop for an immersive musical journey.
