Public speaking is a vital tool in business; whether its to one person, when you pitch your business, or a room full of executives or audience. And its a skill you can learn, with the right tools!

Use these valuable skills to close your next deal or land your dream customer.

You will learn techniques on how to deliver a presentation to 2 or 200 people, what building blocks you need to put this presentation together.

Confidence, voice and body language

You’ll learn how to overcome fear and anxiety when speaking to an audience. We’ll teach you how to build confidence when presenting and how to use body language that sells. Learn how to sound in control with your voice hitting the right notes and how to project your voice.

Structure and Technology

We’ll look into the purpose, message and call to action of your speech or presentation. You’ll learn how to incorporate technology and what is the specific structure of a video pitch.

Relating to the Audience

We’ll teach you how to make that first impression count and how to relate to different personality types when presenting. You’ll learn storytelling techniques and memory enhancers for your audience. We’ll look into the importance of presenting and feedback.

Influencing an audience

We’ll teach you how to present with power and how to win the deal. By optimizing techniques from Neuro-science, and Patterns of behaviour and presentation skills you will be able to persuade faster and much more effectively. This will allow others to listen to you and your audience can take action afterwards. Learn to make your message stick.

Personal Branding

You’ll learn how to position yourself as the expert in your field. We’ll help brand you as a business expert and give you the skills to address an audience at a conference, a book launch or Media event. We equip leaders and managers to inspire their teams, chair board meetings, address shareholders, or appear on Television or radio.

The workshop consists of 2 Bootcamps, presented on the following dates :

Bootcamp 1 : 24 October 2019

Bootcamp 2 : 14 November 2019

Ladies are welcome to attend only the first session, but the second session will be for attendees from the first session only. It will focus on the skills learnt in the first workshop, and fine-tuning the presentation with homework and time spent working on techniques that you have learnt.

Bootcamp 1:

·      Personal Branding: what do you want the audience to say about you after you’ve presented?

·      Building your confidence                                                                                                     

·      The purpose, structure and call to action.                                                                                       

·      How to relate to different personality types

·      Body language that works.

·      How to use the stage or your speaking area.

·      Practical element: Presenting your 3-5-minute presentation and receiving feedback.

Bootcamp 2:

·      Slides design and presentation hacks when using a computer.

·      Using notes and memorising your speech.

·      Voice: using your voice to bring meaning.

·      Storytelling techniques.

·      Memory enhancers: how to allow the audience to remember what you’ve said.

·      Practical element: Presenting & feedback.

Pre-work and requirements:

·      Delegates must arrive with a prepared 3-5 minute presentation, which they will deliver and improve on at the Bootcamp.

·      We would prefer if you don’t make use of slides and simply use notes.

·      The ideal scenario would be either an elevator pitch of your business, what problems you are solving, or certain issues in your industry that you are addressing with your solutions. 

The cost is R1,500 to book for the first bootcamp, or R2,500 for both.

This will include refreshments and workshop material.
