Located in Kilifi town on the coast of Kenya and set beside the wild and stunning Takaungu Creek on the edge of the Indian Ocean, Beneath the Baobabs is a wild and magical 20-acre jungle site developed into a fully functional event space capable of hosting events of up to 10,000 people. Located on a pristine lush plateau along a wild and meandering green valley, home to secret wild orange and lemon orchards, bamboo forests, thousand-year-old baobabs and other ancient indigenous trees, Beneath the Baobabs hosts a remarkable flagship festival: Kilifi New Year (from 30 Dec to Jan 2nd)

"The stages should all be outdoor and accessible to everyone. music form the mijikenda stage was so soundproof to the indoor area that was small.. be more inclusive with the acts, lets have a mixture of up and coming acts and established artists share the stage to give them booth a fair audience."
